Come celebrate 36 years with us by honoring leaders who have made a difference, celebrating our victories and the history of Anne Devenney. Anne Devenney was a woman of working class Irish roots who organized tenants and youth to stop arson for profit schemes in the Northwest Bronx. By her effort to unite the clergy, youth, tenants and residents to confront landlords and elected officials to demand their rights, the NWBCCC was born.
